Sindelfingen, Germany, Technology Center
The automotive company Daimler built in Sindelfingen a new Vehicle Safety Technology Center measuring more than 600,000 sq ft.
The design was in the hands of the architecture office Heinle, Wischer und Partner.
For various ceilings within the visitor area of the technology center the water-like reflective surface EXYD-M was selected. Determined was also due to functional and aesthetic reasons, that the ceiling is perforated – each ceiling panel has its individual whole pattern, which is generated by a randomized algorithm.
EXYD produced the ready-to-mount ceiling panels. Lindner provided the hook-on ceiling system LMD-E 213.
