Zell, Austria, Casino
A new casino was opened in 2016 at the Grand Hotel in Zell am See. The casino is operated by Casinos Austria.
The design of the casino was in the hands of the architectural firm NOPP and the planning office Bernhard Uedl.
Goldtone EXYD-M was used indoors as ceiling cladding and outside as facade cladding.
EXYD produced pre-finished ceiling and facade elements – each element unique. KAMPER from Styria was responsible for substructures and montages.
The facade elements were also perforated by EXYD. The pattern perforation was derived from a predetermined ornament and abstracted by various algorithms.
