Vienna, Austria, Covered Driveway
In 2014 was completed the construction of a Viennese villa designed by the architecture office Architec. Situated on a hillside, it has a covered driveway.
The driveway gets daylight by a lightwell with a cladding made out of EXYD-M.
The garage door and its mounting also has a cladding made out of EXYD-M (see photo below).
Street side, the driveway is closed by a sliding gate.
For the facade including the sliding gate EXYD created a non-repetitive pattern of wholes and produced the corresponding aluminum panels. All EXYD-M panels are made out of stainless steel.
The garage door and its mounting was implemented by Kusolitsch, lightwell and facade were implemented by Drascher. The sectional garage door is a product of Guttomat, the sliding gate is made by Tobias.
